burning flame

around Thy flame
i'll remain
to keep me sane
in rain and pain

burning logs,
eternal flame,
make me strong
in the raging storm
and help me through
the tearful mourn

i thank Thee Lord
for the holy flame
that keeps my heart
in Thy heavenly track

enable me, o holy flame
to see the rainbow
through the darkest sorrow

for i'll stay close
to Thy burning flame
and remain warm
in the pouring rain...
