i walk not into the past

my mind was traveling fast
into the glory of the past
to the time when goddesses
were living on earth

i felt
i was trapped in the land
when man’s fate was being played
as gods
cursed
and
blessed
at the same time

everything was pictured
in black
and
white
as black as charcoals
casted from hell
as white as angels’ wings
rested on fluffy clouds

here i sat, on the lowest step
at the foot of the vast temple
i felt the atmosphere of the past
was enormously strong
dashed my memory into pieces
against the temple’s wall

along with the sound of prayers
chanted from the temple
i nailed this misery
in your stony chest,
right into your rocky heart.

let it be there for eternity
to be carved on the wall of your temple

for i walk not into the past…
